Our expert team designs bespoke spaces filled with natural light, perfect for relaxation or entertaining. Discover how an orangery can transform your home and let us bring your vision to life!

What is an orangery

An orangery is a beautiful and functional extension to your home, characterised by its elegant design and extensive use of glass. Originally built to house orange trees during colder months, modern orangeries are versatile spaces that can serve a variety of purposes, from dining areas to sun lounges. They typically feature a solid, brick-built base with large windows and a glass roof, allowing for an abundance of natural light while maintaining a warm, inviting atmosphere. With their timeless appeal and architectural charm, orangeries provide a seamless connection between your indoor and outdoor living spaces, making them a perfect addition to any home.

Why choose a new orangery?

What happens next

Free consultation and quote (week 1)

Start with a free, no-obligation consultation where our expert team will visit your home to understand your requirements, take precise measurements, and suggest design ideas that best suit your space. You’ll receive a comprehensive quote outlining every detail, ensuring transparency from the start.

Order & Deposit (Weeks 2-3)

Installation (weeks 3-6)

Starting with groundwork, laying the foundations, and completing the base work. Once the structure is ready, we’ll install the conservatory, including brickwork, glazing, and roof fitting. Throughout the process, we prioritise quality craftsmanship and minimal disruption to your home. By the end, you’ll have a beautiful, fully functional conservatory ready to enhance your home’s living space.

Roofline FAQ

Here's a list of frequently asked questions we receive from our customers.

How often should I replace my gutters, fascias, and soffits?

Typically, roofline elements like gutters and fascias can last 20-30 years with proper maintenance, but signs of damage such as sagging, cracks, or peeling paint should be addressed immediately to prevent further issues.

What materials are best for fascias and soffits?

uPVC is the most popular option for both fascias and soffits due to its durability, low maintenance, and weather resistance. Timber offers a more traditional look but requires more upkeep.

Can I replace my roofline without replacing the roof?

Yes, you can replace your gutters, fascias, and soffits without needing a full roof replacement, although it's a good opportunity to inspect both areas.

How do I know if my roofline needs repair or replacement?

Signs include leaking gutters, rotting wood, peeling paint, or sagging gutters. Regular maintenance can help extend their lifespan, but a professional inspection is the best way to know for sure.

Absolutely first class product, service and fitting.  Sarah and Wayne went to so much trouble to make sure the etched glass and door were exactly what I wanted.  The installation and fitting by Dave was excellent.  I'd highly recommend this company.

We had brand new French Windows and gutters fitted by Drayton Plastics & Glass last week and can't praise the standard and quality of the product and workmanship highly enough. Dave and Pete, the installation team arrived promptly on Thursday morning and the whole job of replacing the doors and guttering was completed by midday Friday to a high standard. We are both very pleased with price, quality of workmanship and quality of materials. Many thanks!.
